The Designer Showrooms at Somerset House have been given another refresh, and roaming around the space threw up a good number of new names worth looking into. Vanni Cacocciola continues to create sharp and chic clothes with a twist. Turn-of-the-century nurse aprons and Death in Venice stripes inspired this shirt-and-skirt combo – prim with a dose of danger is just how I like it. Over that went a sheath of white wafer-thin paper lace, along with a brilliant matching sun visor from Danielle Romeril’s SS14 collection. Romeril launched her label last year, and mark my words – watch Romeril’s stock soar next season. On my feet are a pair of simple white mules by new shoe label Dorateymur. They’re feminine without being fussy – exactly my sort of shoe. Fleet Ilya continue to fly high with their structured leather accessories, such as this boxy forest-green bag.
