I was immediately drawn to the bright tones of The Exhibition, picking up on all the textures and fabrics designers seem to be having fun with this season.
Maryling, an Asian brand known for luxurious separates, has created a jacket in translucent yellow, wrinkled organza, which complements the rest of the texture-heavy collection.
The crumpled texture of the jacket went hand-in-hand with a pair of apple-green trousers by Malene Oddershede Bach, a Danish-born London-based designer that has been marked out by Vauxhall Fashion Scout as a ‘Ones to Watch’.
Illustrator and designer David Longshaw has put his muse Maude to one side and created a collection based on a story he wrote for <Tank> a few years back, which involves the misadventures of a girl, a puffin called Ivor and the seaside. This tale has duly been illustrated and printed onto elaborate dresses as well as simple silk t-shirts. The tale has also been brought to life with an animated film to better showcase Longshaw’s fantastical imagination.
