L’Oreal Professionnel Stylist, Sam Hillerby, shares with The Daily the look created for Vivienne Westwood’s A/W 12 show.
“Inspiration for the show was slightly androgynous, Rockabilly 1920′s women and gang girls mixed with The Railway Children.

The hair was prepped through with L’Oreal Professionnel Play Ball texture tonic to give it some guts.  It was also sprayed with L’Oreal Professionnel Infinium to give some hold.

It was then tonged randomly with a wand to create large and small curls and brushed through to loosen to give an airy feel.

The hair was raked up with the fingers at the sides which gave toughness to the look, bringing the hair up on to the top of the head which gave the volume and the curls tightly pinned and ends left loose.

The back of the head was secured from the nape of the neck upwards and pinned into a french pleat, leaving the ends to give volume at the top.

It was finally finished with a spray of L’oreal Professionnel Infinium to secure.”
